RYAN
DELCOURT

I am Ryan Delcourt, a graphic designer from Frankfort, Illinois. I have received a bachelor degree, with a major in graphic design and a minor in sociology, from Illinois State University. During this time I gained experience with design and marketing, including market research. Throughout my design experience, I volunteered design work for many non-profit organizations, worked for Illinois State University’s Daily newspaper designing ads, completed several internships, created work for University Marketing and Communications at Illinois State, and worked as a freelance designer. With the liberal arts background that I acquired during this time, I have developed a multitude of skills applicable in a variety of circumstances; these include, but are not limited to: communication, organization, multitasking, and collaborating with others. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign along with Microsoft Office and several other similar graphic applications. I also have experience building websites (such as this one) and some knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver. The ability to work in teams, under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines, are very important in design. These skills are firmly within my grasp, and I am confident that I could apply them at a moment’s notice.
